Kaley Cobb has been riding horses since before she could walk. Everything she has accomplished can be credited to her mom, Deanna. She got her first quarter pony on her third birthday and has been riding solo since that day. She grew up participating in showmanship, western pleasure, team penning, barrel racing, pole bending, and goat tying. Kaley then hung up the judged classes and only competed in the team events. She participated in the high school rodeo circuit her junior and senior year. Today she competes in the United Rodeo Association, Barrel Bashes and local barrel races. A recent list of Kaley’s accomplishments:
• Won the first-go in the pole bending and placed 4th in the average at the 2007 IFYR Shawnee, OK
• Won the 2D national title at the Great Lakes Nationals in 2008
• Placed at multiple Missouri NBHA State shows
• 2008 Missouri State 1D reserve champion
• Multiple wins at Barrel Bashes, national shows, and local Central 4D and NBHA shows

Deanna Cobb has been barrel racing her entire life. She grew up in rural Wellsville, Mo. She grew up with horses and started barrel racing at a young age. Deanna married Charlie Cobb from Montgomery City. They have been married 31 years and live in rural Montgomery City on a farm. Charlie has row crops and runs a feeder-to-finish hog operation, as well. Deanna continues to ride, whether it’s trail riding or hauling to barrel races. She enjoys working with the younger horses, but has a place in her heart for her 10-year-old mare, Squirt, too.
